How do I track my order?
Once your order has left the warehouse, you will be sent an email with the tracking information and a link to the carrier’s website. Once there, enter the tracking information and you will be able to see the current status of your delivery.
Alternatively, you can log onto your River Island account online and check the status from there, or give the River Island customer service team a call and speak to an advisor.
I haven’t received my order, what now?
If you haven’t received your order within the estimated time frame, please contact the River Island customer care line and have your order number to hand.
If your order cannot be found, you will be sent a missing order form. Once this is returned, you can then be refunded. Calling the River Island contact number found on this page can often lead to the item being found. Before you do, check with your neighbours and see if there is any safe place outside of your property that the driver may have left it.

About River Island
Bernard Lewis started his career as a merchant in East London in 1948, trading in mostly fruit and vegetables. He progressed to wool within a few months and expanded along with his three brothers under the name “Lewis Separates”.
They had 70 stores within a ten year period and re-branded as “Chelsea Girl” which was officially the first UK fashion boutique chain. The next few years saw two of the brothers leave and a trust was formed by the remaining (Bernard and David) family members. The trust would also look after other business interests (reference) which included hotels, properties and other investments and this was carried out mostly by David, while Lewis could focus on the retail project.
Menswear followed in 1982 with the start of the Concept Man stores that would eventually merge with Chelsea Girl, to become River Island in 1988.
