About FedEx
The Fedex Corporation is a courier service company that is originally from the United States, but operates multinationally. They delivery to just about any location that has an address and a transport route and have since 1971, been pioneering (reference) the business that has inspired many around the world to follow suit.
“Fedex” is the syllabic abbreviation for Federal Express. The company gained popularity for it’s (back in 1970’s) rare overnight shipping options and it’s ability to track it’s parcels wherever along the journey they might be. This gave potential clients peace of mind and ensured urgent items and documents could get to their destinations on time.
In the 1990’s, the company planned to transport it’s packages with the then “subsonic” passenger carrier Concorde, as a deal with British Airways. This idea was shelved and later the Concorde venture by British Airways was completely scrapped anyway.
